It's the 6th of May 2020 and here we are in the middle of Covid-19 lock down, a time for us all to reflect on our lives and how we lead them going forward, so whilst we’re all keeping safe Sue’s Kitchen catering has been creating new sweet & savoury recipes and Canapés for our delicious buffet menus. So last month “March 12th” saw us showcasing a snapshot of some of our deli sandwiches, canapé’s and exquisite cakes at The Malvern Three Counties Business Expo.
This business expo event takes place twice a year hosted by the chamber of commerce, with an amazing array of around 150 small businesses participating, so this was our second time exhibiting in the food & drink zone where we met some very inspiring new small business entrepreneurs.
We were able to supply enough food samples for the extensive footfall that arrived that day and tried to exhibit as much variety and colour, as we could. In the past buffets have always been considered as very beige and bland but not with Sue’s catering, it’s all about the visual appearance and the taste so I think we managed it on this occasion and met some wonderful visitors & potential new business clients.
Receiving the amazing comments on our food presentation & displays was extremely exhilarating and confidence-boosting but most of all for the tastes and textures of our food which is what we're all about.
Exhibiting new products & idea’s for many different dietary requirements takes a lot of time, thought & consideration, so when we received praise and visitors kept coming back to the stall for our new gluten-free cakes, sandwiches & sausage rolls we were absolutely thrilled and it inspired & enthused us to go back home with an abundance of new idea’s & creative new recipes for the many & varied dietary requirements that exist today.
